Massiwa Gourmet: a family business of Comorian cuisine
Our story
Massiwa Gourmet is a family business specializing in Comorian cuisine, particularly frozen halal samboussas and artisanal Comorian chili. Based between Quebec and Ontario, we introduce the authentic flavors of the Comoros to Canada.
We are Adnane and Echata, brother and sister, founders of Massiwa Gourmet.
Of Comorian origin, we grew up in an environment where cooking held a central place: the scents of spices, recipes passed down with care, and meals that brought together all generations.
Now settled in Canada, we have chosen to give a new dimension to this heritage by sharing it through a common project.
Massiwa Gourmet embodies the transmission of a culinary and emotional heritage that we keep alive with respect, demand, and pride.
Through our handmade samboussas and our artisanal Comorian chili, we share a rich culinary tradition, passed down from generation to generation.
At Massiwa Gourmet, each samboussa is prepared with the same care and respect for traditions as those we shared in our family. Our mission is simple: to introduce the authentic flavors of the Comoros to Canada through products made with passion and rigor.
